Scrambled Café is a branding project that I did while I was interning at Gaslight Creative. I was to create a brand for a fictional restaurant, called Scrambled Café. The items on the menu were given to me, making it a breakfast/lunch joint, and the rest was up to me. I decided to make the location of my restaurant on a mountain in Colorado, since that’s where I grew up. I wanted the brand to look sunny and bright and happy, but also classy and put together. I created a logo that looked like either an egg with a broken shell, or the sun peeking over a mountain range, which was a reference to both the food and the location. This project was a competition between me and the other three interns, and Gaslight Creative chose my project to feature on their website.
